About Melissa A. Atteberry
Melissa A. Atteberry began her legal career in 1995. A graduate of Cal-Northern School of Law, she was admitted to the California State Bar Association shortly after graduation. Through the years, Melissa handled and observed a plethora of family law and divorce cases. She witnessed many tense and often damaging divorces play out in family court. This caused her to pursue a better way to resolve divorce matters.
Melissa subsequently received mediation training through the Straus Institute at Pepperdine University, Interdisciplinary Collaborative Training through the Sacramento Collaborative Practice Group, and Narrative Mediation Training.
At present, she is on the Board of Directors for the Sacramento Collaborative Practice Group and is a proud member of the IACP (International Academy of Collaborative Professionals).
